Using the site
By using this site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
The site offers free PDF and image tools that run in your browser. You do not need an account. We may add, change or remove tools, or stop offering the site, at any time and without notice.
Your files
Your files are yours. They are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to us, so we claim no rights in them and never receive them.
You are responsible for the files you process. Only use files you have the right to use, and do not use the tools to break the law or someone else’s rights, for example by removing protection from documents you are not allowed to open, or by infringing copyright.
Check your results
The tools work automatically, and results can contain mistakes. Text recognition can misread words, conversions can change the layout, and compression can reduce quality. Before you rely on, share or submit a file, check the result, especially:
- Redaction: make sure everything sensitive is covered before you share the file.
- Passwords: keep a copy of any password you set. We never see it and cannot recover it.
- Your originals: keep them until you have checked the result.
Acceptable use
Do not:
- try to disrupt, overload or attack the site, or the services it runs on;
- access the site with automated tools in a way that puts an unreasonable load on it;
- copy, resell or redistribute the site, or present it as your own.
Open-source software
The site includes open-source software, each part under its own license. These are listed on the licenses page, and those licenses govern those parts.
No warranty
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including that it will be accurate, uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using or not being able to use the site, including lost or damaged files, lost data, or lost profits. Because the site is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to zero.
Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
Age
You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live, or have permission from a parent or guardian.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top when we do. If you keep using the site after an update, you accept the new terms.
